Yes, the interior of the boxes are natural brown kraft, so most food would not have contact with any of the colors used on the outside of the box (unless it's particularly greasy or moist.)
They do have a bottom flap that covers the folded bottom, reducing gaps for crumbs to fall out - but we wouldn't recommend this box to be used alone for something that could be leaky or generate a very large amount of crumbs. Pairing with some tissue could help with both functionality and presentation.
