These boxes are intended to be used with non-greasy items such as baked goods. These boxes are not grease resistant nor leak proof. If your fried chicken releases oil or fats it could saturate or even leak through the box. This box is also not vented which means steam production from hot items could lead to soggy food items as well as a damp box. It would be our recommendation that you consider a either lining the box with grease resistant paper, or consider a different box for this application.
