I believe these disposable knives should work for cutting through most steaks - particularly a fattier, softer cut like a rib-eye.
They're made using heavier / stronger / denser plastic than most 'standard' disposable cutlery you'll find at most fast food restaurants.
I didn't have a good substitute for a "steak like" texture to test these out on at the moment, but I was able to cut through some standard cardboard shipping boxes (like Amazon boxes) without breaking the knife.
