That's a good question. We could help yuo better if we knew what you were wanting to put in these White Gable boxes, but lacking that let me say this. We have thousands of different customers who have bought our gabled or handled lunch typ boxes and they are more than strong enough to handl food to go, boxed lunches etc. They are made from Paperboard, 18 point thickness. If you were carrying one and it rained they will hold up if you aren't in the rain for a long time, but if you plan to have your lunch in the pool, no way will it hold up. I'd suggest having the lunch before going into the water, perhaps wait an hour so you don't get swimmers cramps then jump in!
