Is this candy box lined with anything so that it would be able to hold wet foods?

No the box is not lined with anything to contain wet foods. Our recommendation would be to use food grade tissue like item code # XFSTISSUE1212WH or 3/4 oz cups like item code #XFSHOFBL114-3GFSP if you are using for chocolate covered strawberries and such.
