Normal T-Shirt bags do NOT have a flat bottom and so when you put a flat bottom box into it the box tips over on it's side or leans significantly one way or the other causing the contents to go that way. If there is a sauce in the container in most cases that sauce ends up leaking out of the container as a result. The square bottom T-Shirt bags offered here are more expensive than standard T-Shirt bags for good reason, the thickness of the plastic bag is triple the standard cheaper t-shirt bags so you can carry much more weight like a large cake in a 10x10x5 box as an example with no worries of the bag failing. If you are using the bags for takeout meals this is a cost efficient alternative to get the product out the door.
