The Recycled Brown Kraft bakery boxes do not have a wax coating on the interior. Because they do not have this coating, they are a very "green/earth-friendly" item that is not only recyclable, but compostable and biodegradable as well. Our recommendation is to add a piece of food grade bakery tissue on the bottom if your baked goods are on the yummy buttery side.
